Will our children know peace? This summer there are excellent resources available to teach one of the tenets of our faith: peacemaking. Come to one of the workshops led by our Ohio Conference Resource Advocate, Norma Duerksen, to learn more about using peace-related resources in the Gather 'Round Sunday school curriculum and in Leader.
These workshops are intended for pastors, worship committees, education committees, teachers and church librarians. Registration is $10 per congregation and is payable at the door.

Delegates at the 2008 Ohio Conference Annual Conference Assembly (ACA) discussed a variety of topics this year, including ideas for Hispanic Ministries. Unfortunately, winter weather cut short business meetings, and delegates were unable to discuss Youth/Young Adult Initiatives and Stewardship Initiatives, as was previously planned. The Ohio Conference Ministry Development Team is seeking ideas for ministries which can enrich the Conference as a whole and can extend our witness for Jesus Christ. If you have an idea for such a ministry, please consider forming a Resource Team to carry it out. To share your ministry idea with the Ministry Development Team, fill out a Resource Team Form.
